[PAIN GIRL (PILOT)]

I've rewatched this a bunch of times and I've come to the conclusion that I like the older script better honestly! It had a lot more heart to it and reasonable motivations for the characters. Also I didn't like being replaced without knowing after doing free work for months,,, I don't recommend treating your future VAs like that. Super unprofessional. I feel like you should get more varying opinions on your work and scripts for it to really blossom. The pilot as it is begs for fast paced action and wittiness like the PPG inspiration it wears on its sleeve but its really missing that. Its alot of style over substance and the choice in VAs kind of reflects that. The VAs, clean art style and charming character designs really carry it! Good luck with your future projects.
